Times for Change, inside EMI

First time we spoke public about EMI was on 22 April 2019 when the world hit the pandemic. It was a moment when world changed and gave us the opportunity to start EMI, unite together strong Estonian companies under one roof.

During the two years we have grown fast and built EMI as a strong name to the shipbuilding market as a direct and reliable partner for our domestic and international friends and business partners.

We have worked hard and our Estonian companies and have worked even harder on the orders we have brought to Estonia. Between 2019 April until end of 2021 we managed to bring to Estonia more than 3.0 M euros worth of work. A good start I we have to say.

For 2022 we have secured already 2,8 M eur of work and this load is growing every week. We are prod of what we are doing and in our next article we will share more about the contracts signed and on what are we working on.

Also one bigger changes took place beginning of February 2022 when our Founder Argo Sildvee took over 100% of the company and is now running as solo owner of the EMI. Our dear friend Merike Reino made a decision to continue on her own road and let go from EMI.

Will this ownership change change EMI, of-course not, we are here to support Estonian Marine Industry to grow in to a global player. We are on a amazing bath and the only way is to keep on walking on this. It is not a 100m sprint, it is an ultra marathon and we have just passed our first 10k so there is long way to go.
